· Thomas Jopling Need to prove that Pleasant Griffin (gen 7) is son of John Griffin (gen 8): have everything else. Going to need some pretty strong deductive proof based on lots of land deeds and other things. Not going to be easy, but it’s pretty probable. Have some DNA proof through Griffin.

· John Davis: Not sure about the Davis line. I can’t connect them together well: different places

Have ordered Nash Co., NC Microfilm to arrive LDS, to see if indirect proof can be formed showing Patriotic Service – IE, did he pay taxes at standard rate, while others in the county paid at 3x or 4x the rate…: if so, proves he agreed to an oath of allegiance
